HCWA Hunting Season Has Four Events This Fall
The HCWA and its Cubihatcha Outdoor Education Center has scheduled another great series of events for the 2019-20 Hunting Season.
The Authority offers limited opportunities for the public to hunt and fish on its properties during those respective seasons. This year, the HCWA has scheduled two Youth Deer Hunts, on the Saturdays of Oct. 12 and Oct. 26, followed by a Veterans Deer Hunt on Saturday Nov. 9, and concluding with a Waterfowl Fundraiser Hunt to benefit the Henry County Outdoor Education Partnership.
The Youth Deer Hunts and Veterans Hunt are free, while the Waterfowl Fundraiser Hunt is designed to raise money to support outdoor education programming for local students through the Cubihatcha Center. The Hunts are open to HCWA customers, or Henry County residents or property owners.
